Megan E. Spidell
Megan Spidell began her practice in Kernersville, NC representing clients in family and criminal court. In 2013, she moved to Dummit Fradin where she continued to practice family law, criminal law and social security disability in the Greensboro and High Point offices. In 2019, Megan made the decision to open her own firm practicing family law, criminal law and estate planning in Greensboro- and Spidell Family Law began.
Attorney Spidell grew up in Salisbury, North Carolina, where most of her family still resides. She is a graduate of Catawba College and Elon University School of Law. Since graduating law school, Megan has dedicated much of her practice to family law- focusing on separation, custody, adoption, divorce, and financial issues.
Ms. Spidell has been honored as a the National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 (2014), Super Lawyers Rising Star (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019), North Carolina Legal Elite (2017), and AVVO Client's Choice Award.
Megan is a member of the Guilford Inn of Courts, the Greensboro Bar Association (Young Lawyers Section and Family Law Section), the Catawba College Alumni Board of Directors, volunteers with the Elon University School of Law Preceptor Program and is the 2018 and 2019 President of the Piedmont Triad Women Attorneys (a chapter of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys),
Ms. Spidell is licensed in North Carolina, where she practices regularly in District and Superior Courts in numerous local counties. Ms. Spidell is also licensed in Federal Court, in the United States Middle District of North Carolina.

Mary Caitlin Henricks

Mary Caitlin Henricks concentrates her family law practice on child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, separation agreements, divorce litigation, and civil domestic violence.
Mary Caitlin was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, and graduated Magna cum Laude from Appalachian State University with a Communication, Public Relations (BS) degree. After completing her undergraduate studies, she attended Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in Raleigh, NC. During law school, she worked as an intern and clerk for a family law firm.
In addition to her internship and clerkship, Mary Caitlin was involved in Campbell Law’s Women in Law and the Animal Service Project. She has also been involved in a variety of philanthropic endeavors, including, the Scholars with Diverse Abilities Program, the Junior League of Raleigh, and the Junior League of Greensboro. Mary Caitlin has been exclusively practicing family law since she graduated from Campbell Law.
Mary Caitlin has the drive and determination to exceed client goals and expectations. She prides herself on giving her clients a clear picture of every course of action relevant to their case and the legal ramifications of each, so her clients feel educated and comfortable making the best decision for themselves and their families.

Samantha R. Thornton

Samantha grew up in the Piedmont-Triad area. She attended the University of Kentucky, majoring in Political Science and Sociology and minoring in Chemistry. Samantha then returned to North Carolina to obtain her Master's in Study of Law from Wake Forest University School of Law, focusing primarily in tax law.
She interned with the UNC Chapel Hill Athletic Department, where she reviewed Risk Management Policy and Procedure, researched contracts, and conducting research of verified agents. After finishing her Master's in Study of Law from Wake Forest, she worked in Mass Torts at Womble Carlyle and for in-house counsel at Chase Bank, with bankruptcy facing mortgage liens.
Megan and Samantha have been working together for the past year and Samantha was part of the beginning of the firm. Part of the vision for Spidell Family Law has been Samantha's drive toward serving our community and volunteer work. Samantha is also a member of the Junior League of Winston Salem.
Emily M. Fourqurean

Emily grew up in the Northern Virginia area. She moved to North Carolina in 2008 to be close to family. Emily is a small business owner in High Point, NC. For the Past 10 years, she has owned her own business as an independent hairstylist- Emily Cae Beauty.
Emily joined Spidell Family Law in January 2020 and is currently attending Guilford Technical Community College studying to become a certified paralegal. In her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her daughter, friends and family, cooking and baking and traveling.
